Hello out there... are you still there...there...there

Well I hope so.  January I was feeling some kind of way.  I had an aunt (that was just like a sister) that passed away.  It was a very sad time for me and my family.  She was a great person and I will truly miss her.

Friday I could feel myself coming out of my funk and starting to get my groove back.  Well I have put on my running stilettos and hit the business pavement wide out.  I am ready to make things happen.

I will post the first TMYS (Tell Me Your Story) on February 22.  Its going to be hot...

2012 was great... 2013 I am ready

Design Plus Me really grew in 2012.  We added more items to our line.  Neckties, Bowties, Suspenders for boys and men. Diaper covers and Bloomers...

We were on a web talk show, Talking Out Loud with A L Cooper.  We did a web show with On Beauty with Doc Waller.

I want to thank God for all his blessings and keeping us in His Favor.

Well, 2012 is quickly approaching an end.  I have planned my work and I am ready to work my plan.  I know that 2013 will be A W E S O M E!!!!

For the last kickoff... Zoe Dupree will be using some of Design Plus Me men bowties in a celebrity photo shoot on Saturday.  I will share photos once I can...

Carla Jenkins Photography will be using some of Design Plus Me baby wear in her photo shoots.  She will post pictures to my FaceBook page.

For my blog I am going to start doing a brief getting to know them.  Where I will interview an up and coming artist and share their work... Maybe every other week!!!??? Hmmmm just something I am thinking about... Who shall I interview first???

25th Class Reunion

Went to my 25th Class Reunion this pass weekend.  Everyone looked great!!! Can't believe how time flies.

Taping "On Beauty with Doc Waller" was a blast.

Had a blast taping On Beauty with Doc Waller yesterday.  Everyone was absolutely awesome and friendly.  Can't wait to see the show, I love the concept. ... telling the stories and passions of everyday people.

Side note:  Not sure why I am I have my hand on my hip.  He would be so serious then out of no where say or ask something that would have me die laughing. I think that was one of those moments.

Have I said how much I love the concept of his show...

Whats new with Design Plus Me...

Um, I really dont where to start.  I have so many feeling floating around. I first started this blog three years ago to really post pics of my scrapbook layouts. Well, then I wasnt posting as often as I thought I should...

During the past three years so much has changed. I am now sewing like crazy.  I mostly make baby items, but also ipad covers, hair clips, scented sachets and other items.  My product is currently sold in eight stores in GA, HomeGrown, Twisted Sisters, Young Blood, Donna Van Gogh's, At The Collective, Twelve Beau, Wild Oats & Billy Goats and  5 Continents.  I am expanding to SC. Well this is the business side...

The fun side... I am still amazed at how much I like to sew.  I still want to get back to doing my layouts.  These  books will be our family history for my children and their children.

I also want to create something just dont know what it is yet... You know how you have that idea but just have can't put it together on paper or fabric???

So many times I have said that I am going to post more often.  Well this time I will just say my desire is to post at least twice weekly... so maybe I will load some pics.
