I have said so many times on different occasions that I have butterflies in my stomach... well I really do. I am so excited and nervous about the debut of "Design Plus Me Scrapbook Boutique". 498 Flat Shoals Ave SE Atlanta GA 30316 I have talked / dreamed about this day for so long and now I am so nervous. The butterflies are flying full blast in my stomach.

I have envision how I always wanted the space to looked and now its time to make it a reality.
If you're in Georgia please come out and celebrate with me. I am having the grand debut on October 1 & 2 from 12:30 - 7:30 each day. I will have lots of give aways and treats.

Making a Dream a Reality

Some of you know that I have dreamed of opening a Scrapbook store. Well the dream is now a reality. (I am doing the happy dance). I am so excited.

I can now offer classes every weekend dedicated to specific needs. I will still have "BYOS" - bring your own stash twice a month, but now I am able to offer other classes.
I have October calendar completed with classes such as
Thinking of Scrapping, Embossing with Powders and Die Cuts, Glimmer Mist Class, Tool Technique, Mini Album and Crazy for Chipboard.
For the BYOS class you are responsible for bringing your stash
all the other classes product are included.

I will also have craft supplies for sale.

Grand Debut is October 1 & 2

Back to School

Devin started to school on August 2... The summer really flew by. He is a big 8th grader now. I remember him starting preK and now he is almost in high school.
Every year (since PreK) we have taken pictures on the first day of school and the last day. I like to see how much the kids have changed through the school year. Every year Devin acts like he can't remember to do this... he moves so slow and refuses to smile.
Well this year I told him that as long as I live and can hold a camera I will be taking pictures of him and his sister... He has high school, prom, graduation, college, holidays... and lets not even start with the adult life...HA Yeah, he better get with the program.

This card is for a co-worker and great customer that will start a new job on Monday. I wanted to mail this to her instead of giving it to her at work. I thought it would be great to get some happiness in the mail your first week at a new job...

Did I MISS A Whole Month of Blogging???

Well first let me say that I will TRY never to do that again. Shame on me. Bad blogger.

But I did have a great June. The hubby and I celebrated 14 years of marriage with a trip to Chicago. We did the Taste of Chicago, had dinner with his cousin, did a tour of Chicago and of course had the deep dish pizza and sausage dog. Oh yes of course you know I hit a scrapbook store, Windy City Scrabooking. Great store.

My aunts came to visit for four days and we went shopping, shopping and then did some more shopping.

Me and my BFF went to Savannah for the weekend. We had a blast. We ate so much seafood... had to hit one spot twice. LOL

I had my second BYOS. The third one is already planned for July 31...

Yes, June was a great month. I also had some time to think about what I really want to do with my scrapbooking business... so stay tune for some really awesome announcements to come.

Yes, for us it was all about the food...

WOW, Its the end of the month...

Where did the month go???? I can't believe its almost June and half the year is almost gone. (Wonder if I should start Christmas shopping?)

Well I have planned June out and it appears that June will be a VERY busy month. I am doing a girlfriends weekend in Savannah next weekend with one of my BFFs. Can you say girls gone wild... well on the mild side. HA!

This is the girlfriend I will be hanging with. Savannah look out, here comes two DIVAs.

Then June 12 is my second BYOS "Bring Your Own Stash". I am really excited. The first one was really a hit and I have some great things planned for the second. Like I said a VERY busy month- Fathers' Day... 14th Wedding Anniversary...Family coming to visit from SC and I have a list of projects I want to complete.

Before May is completely gone, my daughter celebrated her 19th birthday on May 21. I really don't know how this happened... when I am only 28. I will be post pictures from her birthday dinner later.

New Cards

Here are some new cards I designed this weekend. Something a little different- a change. I feel the more we create the more creative we become. Expressing ourselves in different new ways. With that being said, sometimes a change is good.
